I'm sure I'm not alone here, but no matter how hard I try, I just can't manage to perform satisfactorily in all aspects of my life. Even when I put an extra 10% into one thing, it totally detracts from another.
Some would argue that I have too much on my plate, but I'd rather be overly busy than bored and restless (it comes with being born in the multitasking generation, I suppose). I know no one is perfect and that I'll figure it out along the way, but it's hard for me, a perfectionist, to accept!
I've been feeling lame about not posting very often. I suppose it's the easiest "aspect of my life" to steal percentage points from! But I promise I'll do better. I'm designing/installing some lovely blog designs tonight. Maybe I'll post about them when I'm through!

I hear you! I feel the same way. Its definitely a challenge balancing work, play and responsibilities.
Ohhh girlie, believe me when I tell you that we all understand what you're going through! It is often so hard to find the right balance, and since you have so many irons in the proverbial fire, I can only imagine what you are going through! Above all else, you just need to be true to yourself! We are here to support you and understand that you will post when you need to post and avoid posting when there are far more pressing things on your agenda!
Going out on a limb and starting your own business is huge for anyone, and I am so happy to see that you have really taken off! You are well on your way to rockstardom, girlie, and I couldn't be happier for you!
I know the feeling...
Maybe sometimes you should write down all that you have accomplished in a day to help you realize how great you're doing!
Give it time. You will get organised and a routine sorted. Juggling so many commitments is hard. I know I still struggle.
I think I need targets and a schedule; oh and to do lists! I often feel like I'm not achieving anything when I can't see items ticked off or physical results. Every achievement no matter how small counts.
Sharing your completed designs will allow you to show off your talents and enthuse and inspire those who are still waiting.
Have you considered getting a guest poster occasionally?
The most important thing is not to get disheartened as you are at the beginning, the road ahead is long and you are destined to go a long way; you are a very talented young lady.
I know that Louise at Adori Graphics plans her blogging week ahead of time. Why not set a couple of days a week for regular posts and add extras when you can?
What about setting a design challenge using your digi scrapping kits? You could offer a paper and a couple of embellishments and see what your followers and visitors come up with. E.g. design a card, quick page, header etc.
BTW how's the new job going?
Amanda is right - juggling so many committments is hard so don't feel bad when sometimes you can't get the balance right. My balance tends to be a little off most of the time...I just try and juggle it so the imperfect bits move around LOL. Guest blog spots might help you fill some gaps but the problem is getting the right quality in my experience. You could also try planning a posting schedule in advance - it makes it much easier to post because you don't need to waste time thinking about what to post about. I have regular slots such as Tutorial Tuesday and Freebie Friday. It's actually quicker to make content for those slots than it is to think up what I'm going to post about!
