To make the first weekday a little more bearable, I tend to spoil myself. I set my alarm clock 10 minutes earlier than usual so I have the luxury of pressing the snooze button twice, I refuse to shave my legs in the shower, and it's not uncommon for me to show up to work wearing jeans (normally reserved for Casual Friday - the subtle rebellion feels oh so good!). Throughout the day, I try to find other ways to harmlessly indulge and have fun.
As many of you know, I work at an adoption agency, so I have a particularly special place in my heart for children. No one can make me laugh harder than little kids with their adorable mannerisms and the darnedest things they say! So in attempt to add some fun to an otherwise dreaded day of the week, I've decided to share some of my favorite kiddy videos with you! They have made me cry tears of laughter. Umm, just so you know, I fell off the health food wagon months ago...and it backed up and ran me over again! Arrrgh. Too many goodies this time of year! My thighs hate me.
Anywho. Yaaaay for your little videos. Charlie Bit Me is probably an all time favorite of mine...but the dancing baby takes the cake! Thanks for making me smile on this Monday morning! :)
Hello, Im Haley, new follower. I don't know how you can handle working at an adoption agency. I'd be like... Ohhh I wanna take this one home, every other day! Hahaha. But Charlie Bit Me is an AMAZING video, it never fails to cheer me up. I even have it saved as a ringtone for when I want to listen to it and smile!
I didn't know you worked at an adoption agency. I've seen all those videos. Charlie Bit Me is pretty funny and fun to quote.
When my baby saw the Beyonce video, he started dancing too; but not as animated at that baby. There just be something about that song that really makes babies dance!

I hate mornings in general, no matter what the day of the week is. LOL
The dancing baby reminded of my oldest son who used to dance to music whilst holding onto a table. We took him to Selfridges in London when he was 1 and a half to see Father Christmas, there was a band playing and my gorgeous boy stopped dead in the middle of the store and started dancing! I wish I'd had a camera as everyone stopped to enjoy his joyful performance.
BTW Monday's look so different when you don't have to go out to work but are a WAHM who also homeschools:D
